Acceptable Use Policy

These rules protect recipients, preserve deliverability, and keep the Tcom network trusted for every sender.

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses Tcom Mail and forms part of our Terms of Service. Because email and messaging reputation is shared, the behaviour of one sender can affect the deliverability of others. These rules are strict by design.

We may update this policy as abuse patterns and regulations evolve. Serious or repeated violations can lead to immediate suspension or termination without refund.

1. Permission-based sending

You may only send messages to recipients who have given you clear, provable permission to contact them about the subject of your message. You must be able to demonstrate how and when each recipient opted in.

  • No purchased, rented, scraped, harvested or third-party lists.
  • No sending to addresses collected without consent.
  • Honour every unsubscribe or opt-out request promptly and permanently.
  • Include accurate sender identification and a working unsubscribe mechanism in marketing messages.

2. Prohibited content

You must not use the Services to create, send or store content that is illegal, deceptive, or harmful, including:

  • Phishing, spoofing, or any attempt to deceive recipients about who you are.
  • Malware, viruses, ransomware, or links to malicious sites.
  • Fraud, pyramid schemes, “get rich quick”, advance-fee or deceptive financial offers.
  • Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or that incites violence.
  • Sexually explicit material involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children.
  • Promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, or stolen data.
  • Infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights.

3. Restricted and high-risk categories

Some categories are subject to additional scrutiny, limits, or may be prohibited depending on jurisdiction and consent quality. These include gambling, cryptocurrency and digital assets, pharmaceuticals and supplements, adult content, debt collection, and multi-level marketing. We may request proof of compliance before enabling sending in these categories.

4. Technical and security rules

  • No attempts to bypass sending limits, filters, or abuse-prevention systems.
  • No unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data.
  • No port scanning, penetration testing, or load testing without prior written authorisation.
  • No use of open proxies, botnets, or methods designed to disguise origin.
  • No actions that degrade, overload, or interfere with the Services or other users.

5. Deliverability and list hygiene

You are responsible for maintaining healthy lists and acceptable engagement. High bounce rates, spam complaints, or spam-trap hits harm the entire network. We may throttle, pause, or suspend sending that exceeds our thresholds, and we may require you to re-verify lists or re-confirm consent.

6. Monitoring and enforcement

We may monitor usage and scan content to protect the Services and enforce this policy. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, throttle or block sending, suspend features, or terminate your account. We may also report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

Suspensions or terminations for AUP violations are not eligible for refunds. We may, at our discretion, allow reinstatement after you demonstrate corrective measures.

7. Reporting abuse

If you receive spam or abusive messages sent through Tcom, or suspect a violation of this policy, report it to [email protected] with as much detail as possible (including message headers). We investigate all credible reports.
